Advanced Technology and Design
A ARB Air Locker Differential Lock Solves the problem of transmitting "traction" to a wheel that is in the air or slipping. It replaces the center of the stock differential, and when engaged, it positively locks the front or rear differential, providing equal traction to the opposing wheels. By directing traction where it is needed, you benefit from significantly improved traction, allowing you to tackle difficult terrain with control and confidence. Note: Compatible with LINX
ARB designs and manufactures Air Lockers in-house, using state-of-the-art machinery and a large group of highly skilled and specialized engineers. Each part is meticulously constructed with exacting precision, and each locker is rigorously tested to ensure reliability in the harshest off-road environments.
Why Choose Front Locks?
A rear lock will significantly improve your 4x4's off-road capability and allow you to tackle difficult terrain with much more control. Adding a front lock will take your 4x4's capabilities to the next level, allowing you to fully exploit your vehicle.
ARB Air Locker vs Electronic Lock
THE ARB Air Locker Differential Lock has many advantages over conventional electronic locks.
Electronic differential locks can only be engaged at speeds up to 8-10 km/h. This means you have to slow down or even stop to engage them—and even then, activation takes time. Imagine you're halfway up a hill and need to lock the differential. With an electronic differential lock, you have to stop, activate, and wait, compromising your ability to move off again because momentum has been lost.
But with a ARB Air Locker Differential Lock, a simple flip of the switch provides instant lockout at any time and its super robust design allows activation at any speed.
