Offset (or "ET") is key to a successful assembly. It's the distance between the center of the Wheel and its mounting surface on the hub. A low offset (e.g., ET0) pushes the wheel outwards, widening the track, improving stability, and allowing for larger tires. A high offset (e.g., ET+30) pushes it inwards. Choosing the right offset is essential to avoid any rubbing against the fenders or brake calipers.
