The replacement tank LRA is designed for Toyota Tacoma petrol Double Cab 4WD, from 2005 to 2017, only in short bed version. With its capacity to 125 litersIt replaces the original tank in order to increase fuel range for travel, tracks, raids and travel in isolated areas.

This tank is mounted on the left side of the driveshaft, retaining the standard exhaust and original filler point. The spare tire remains in place. The instructions indicate reusing the original fuel pump assembly, with adaptation of the fuel lines, breather, fuel vapor line, and connection to the activated carbon canister. Installation also requires shortening the eye bolt. Coil spring front left side, flush with the nut.

Since 1989, LONG RANGE AUTOMOTIVE designs and manufactures its tanks in Australia. Each model is developed for a specific vehicle application to optimize available volume while respecting the chassis's mechanical constraints. The tanks LRA They are made of 2mm T125CQ steel. They incorporate internal baffling to limit fuel movement, as well as an expansion chamber. Before being sold, they undergo pressure tests and several quality control checks. Tests are also carried out over dozens of kilometers of heavily degraded tracks. These tests verify the tank's resistance to vibrations, repeated twisting, impacts, and the stresses of prolonged off-road use.

We also do use the pickup in the forest, with brushes and stumps on its ways. So, we decided to replace the original skid plates with something sturdier. Almont4WD skid plates are sturdier than the original, definitely! All vulnerable parts are covered, there is one plain level from front to back, with no screws sneaking and ready to be torn off. The parts are to mount easyly, and vehicle maintenance still is an easy job, too. Almont4WD is an excellent choice for the one who need the ultimate skid protection.
