The replacement tank LRA is designed for Toyota Land Cruiser Prado KDJ150 SWB diesel short body 4WD, from 2009 to 2015. With its capacity to 135 litersIt replaces the original fuel tank to increase fuel range for travel, off-road excursions, raids, and travel in remote areas. This version is intended for models equipped with a Tow bar of origin.

This tank is located behind the rear axle, with the standard exhaust and original filler neck retained. The spare tire remains in place. The instructions indicate reusing the original fuel gauge/fuel inlet assembly, with modifications to the fuel inlet and return lines, adaptation of the float arm, reuse of the anti-rollover valve, and adjustment of the filler hoses.

Since 1989, LONG RANGE AUTOMOTIVE designs and manufactures its tanks in Australia. Each model is developed for a specific vehicle application to optimize available volume while respecting the chassis's mechanical constraints. The tanks LRA They are made of 2mm T125CQ steel. They incorporate internal baffling to limit fuel movement, as well as an expansion chamber. Before being sold, they undergo pressure tests and several quality control checks. Tests are also carried out over dozens of kilometers of heavily degraded tracks. These tests verify the tank's resistance to vibrations, repeated twisting, impacts, and the stresses of prolonged off-road use.

We also do use the pickup in the forest, with brushes and stumps on its ways. So, we decided to replace the original skid plates with something sturdier. Almont4WD skid plates are sturdier than the original, definitely! All vulnerable parts are covered, there is one plain level from front to back, with no screws sneaking and ready to be torn off. The parts are to mount easyly, and vehicle maintenance still is an easy job, too. Almont4WD is an excellent choice for the one who need the ultimate skid protection.
